Our Quality Standards

When you buy from GlobalGeeks, you know exactly what to expect, no matter what stock you order. Every unit undergoes a very strict grading and quality control process following PhoneCheck, the industry standard 60-Point inspection method.

Each unit is ready to ship after it’s been sanitized, data-wiped, paired with an IMEI barcode sticker and bagged individually.

Grading Guidelines

Brand New

Devices are brand new and sealed in original box. All accessories are in the original plastic. Devices have never been used. Devices pass all functionality tests, are ready for activation and have no iCloud lock.

CPO/Certified Pre-Owned

Devices are in like-new condition certified by a manufacturer or a carrier through an 80-point inspection. Units are pristine with no signs of use and have no scratches or dents. Includes a full kit of device with accessories. Devices pass all functionality tests, are ready for activation and have no iCloud lock.

Grade A+

Devices are used and in mint condition with no signs of use. Devices are free of all scratches, scuffs, and dents. Devices pass all functionality tests, are ready for activation and have no iCloud lock.

Grade A

Devices are used and in excellent condition with little to no signs of use. Devices can be described as “Like New” and have very minimal signs of use. Devices may have very minor imperfections that are not visible under normal conditions. Devices pass all functionality tests, are ready for activation and have no iCloud lock.

Grade A/B

Devices are used in great condition and have light / moderate signs of use. Devices have small scratches with no dings or dents. Devices pass all functionality tests, are ready for activation and have no iCloud lock.

Grade B/C

Devices are used and have moderate signs of use. Devices have multiple scratches and may have noticeable dings, dents and/or scuffs on the housing. Devices pass all functionality tests, are ready for activation and have no iCloud lock.

Grade C

Devices are used and have heavy signs of use. Devices have many scratches and noticeable dings, dents and scuffs on the housing. Devices pass all functionality tests, are ready for activation and have no iCloud lock.

PGL – Power up/Good LCD

Devices power up and have a good LCD. Devices may be functional with minor issues. Issues include bad speakers, camera, etc. Device activation is not guaranteed. Devices restore and have no iCloud lock.

PCG – Power Up/Good LCD with cracked glass

Devices power up and have a good LCD with cracked glass. Devices may be functional with minor issues. Issues include bad speakers, camera, etc. Device activation is not guaranteed. Devices restore and have no iCloud lock.

PBL – Power Up/Bad LCD

Devices power up and have a bad LCD and may have cracked glass. Devices may be functional with minor issues. Issues include bad speakers, camera, etc. Device activation is not guaranteed. Devices restore and have no iCloud lock.

DOA – No iCloud

Devices don’t power on and will be dead on arrival. Devices include issues like no power, cracked glass, bad lcd etc. Devices range from moderate to heavy use & are not fully functional and have no icloud account lock.

DOA – iCloud/Activation Locked

Devices do not power on and will be dead on arrival. Devices include issues like no power, cracked glass, bad LCD etc. Devices range from moderate to heavy use. Devices are not fully functional and have an icloud account lock.

Returns

We know that mistakes happen, and returns are a very important part of every business. Our units come with a 30-day functionality-only warranty, if stated on invoice. (Does not include cosmetic grading)

GlobalGeeks reserves the right to accept, deny or exchange any RMA units for similar model, memory, grade, and specifications.

All returns must be approved and sent back within 30 days.
